E Pasar Pg (Lazada)
It is a store on Lazada. You can find vegetables, eggs, chicken, seafood, pork and also others like tofu. Their products have a good variety. If you want to get everything in one shop probably can consider E Pasar Pg.
Products: Mostly fresh produce, fresh seafood and fresh meat
Delivery Fee: According to the system, RM12 free delivery Lazada voucher can be applicable
Delivery Time: Non-Peak Season Semenanjung is 1-3 days, East Malaysia is 3-5 days
Personal Shopping Experience: I always get chicken and vegetables from E Pasar Pg. Their delivery used to be next-day delivery and they even delivered my order on Public Holidays.
For the most recent purchase, they sent after 2 days from the day I placed my order. It might due to the high volume of orders which is understandable.
There are missing items from the most recent purchase as well, but they did Whatsapp to inform and communicate to replace the missing items.
The chickens I received were fresh and vacuum packed, I give them a thumb up on this. The vegetable quality quite varies from time to time. Sometimes, it is fresh and sometimes not, but they were in a condition that is still acceptable.
Ayamplus (Shopee)
The second Penang grocery delivery provider is this chicken seller that I found on Shopee. I never purchase from them before. However, from the buyer reviews, I might give it a try when I have the chance. The shop looks legit.
Products: Chicken
Delivery Fee: According to the system, on Shopee they wrote Free Shipping for orders over RM80.00
Delivery Time: Order before 5 p.m. will deliver on next day morning
Personal Shopping Experience: N/A
Klang Local Product (Shopee/Lazada)
This store is a store that you can find on both Shopee or Lazada. It is on my wishlist, I want to try their sweet potatoes. They provide a variety of sweet potatoes.
As it is from Klang, so their delivery method is through courier. Therefore, the quality of the products might depend on the courier service speed and how well they handle the parcel. They do sell coffee and spices as well.
Products: Sweet potatoes, coffee and spices.
Delivery Fee: According to the system, free shipping subsidy for orders over RM15.00 on Shopee is applicable
Delivery Time: Vary, depends on the courier.
Personal Shopping Experience: N/A
EF Store. (Lazada)
This Penang grocery delivery provider sells fruits. Their products are mostly organic fruits such as Guava Lohan, Dragonfruits and Banana Raja. Their Organic Mangosteen is currently end of the season so might only be available next year.
Products: Organic Fruits (Guava, Dragonfruits, Banana Raja and Mangosteens), Organic Fertiliser and Grouper Fish.
Delivery Fee: According to the system, RM12 free delivery Lazada voucher can be applicable
Delivery Time: Vary, depends on Location
Personal Shopping Experience: I ordered Dragonfruits and Guava. Both taste good. Dragonfruit is not as sweet as the ones I used to eat but overall satisfied.
Pacific West (Lazada)
Pacific West is a brand that you can commonly found in stores. They mostly sell frozen seafood including frozen fish, squid prawn or even combo. Besides, they currently have plant-based options too. I am looking forward to trying their plant-based options on my next order.
Products: Frozen seafood products, frozen plant-based products
Delivery Fee: According to the system, free delivery in certain areas with a minimum spend of RM66.00
Delivery Time: Vary, may contact the seller to enquiry on this
Personal Shopping Experience: I ordered frozen fish products which taste the same as the one bought in-store. The delivery came in a refrigerated truck. So far so good.
Overall the above 5 Penang grocery providers are the ones that I would love to try or I had purchased before. If any Penangites have more recommendations, feel free to comment down below.
I will continue to update the list as well if I have found any other providers.
