What is CCRIS?
“CCRIS” stands for Central Credit Reference Information System. According to Bank Negara Malaysia, it’s a report that shows your financing and repayment information for recent 12-month period. It could be a reference when assessing one’s financing applications.
It’s kind of like your financial performance report.

Why you should register for e-CCRIS?
- It’s convenient to get your CCRIS report without walk in.
- You can get an overview of your financial position, whenever or wherever. (Once you have the account). It is easier to keep track of your finance.
- It’s free.
- It just takes 10 minutes of your time.
Steps to sign up for e-CCRIS in less than 10 minutes
- Go to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) website.
- Click on “Register Now”.
- It will take you to the page as below:
There would be RM1.00 deduction for identity verification, but it will be refunded within 2 working days as stated on the page.
Tick “Yes, I understand.” then click the green button at the right bottom “Proceed”.
- Continue to fill in your details. Complete the Captcha. Ensure all the information is correctly fill in then you may “Submit”.
- The page will lead you to the FPX payment page.
(As mentioned above, there will be a RM1.00 deduction and it will be refunded within 2 working days.) - After payment, you may proceed to setup your account. Go to “First Time Login”.
- Use the pin sent to your mobile phone to setup your e-CCRIS account.
- Key in your ID, email and password. Proceed with your security phase and security questions.
- Viola, you have created your e-CCRIS account.
Steps to download e-CCRIS report
- Go to the website. Login as usual if you haven’t. (You will need to fill in the OTP, so make sure you mobile phone is with you.)
- Once you login, go to “Enquiry”. Under the breakdown, click on “Self Enquiry – Individual”.
- You will then see your CCRIS report. Under the report, there are a few buttons.
You may click on “Explanatory Notes” for further explanation on the report. If you wish to download, just click on “Download”.
Please take note that the document downloaded is protected with password. The website will show a pop out as below. You are required to unlock the document before you able to view it.
There you go. You have gotten your CCRIS report.
